My top five news sites
There are a variety of mediums that one can acquire news from. Whether it is via website, newspaper, television, or even social media platforms, there are a myriad number of websites that may tickle one's fancy. With hopes and dreams of becoming a broadcast journalist, being knowledgable in current events/business news is crucial.
1. Typically, I always check Fox News for all things political, as well as a source for my daily news. In a society where "fake news" is prevalent in the media, I find Fox News to be the most reliable source. To make sure I don't miss an important news update, I keep my post notifications on my iPhone to make sure I stay well-informed throughout the day. You can usually find me watching Tucker Carlson in the lobby of my dorm building while I do homework.

3. I enjoy using TheBlaze for more newsworthy information in regard to politics. Some of my favorite political commentators, such as Glen Beck, are featured on this platform. An interesting facet of TheBlaze is their Podcast feature (which is something I have recently have had an interest in). Most especially, the platform's perspective and commentary on American culture, and politics is projected in an intriguing yet easy-to-digest way.

4. In regard to entertainment news, I use E! News to cover information on the latest celebrity news and trends in television, film, fashion and music. Although it is not relevant to topics like our current economy, I do find interest in Pop Culture events. And since I am on-the-go, I have push notifications on for E! News.

5. Although I am (kind of) ashamed to admit, I do, in fact, use Facebook as a news source, but not necessarily in the way one might think. A lot of famous political commentators I listen to have his or her own Facebook page. In other words, Facebook is basically a source where I can read easy-to-digest information from people like Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, Tomi Lahren, etc. Despite Facebook running into some controversy regarding privacy concerns, I am able to gather information from all of my favorite commentators on one source.
